Our Shared Shelf is Emma Watson’s feminist book club. Once you’ve finished shrieking and wondering how in the name of little green apples you didn’t know about this, read on.
I have known about this for a few months now, but I’ve been so snowed under with studying, work, and the reading challenges that I am already doing this year that I couldn’t even conceive of adding more to the list. So, what I want to do is start at the beginning of the list of books that the book club has already worked though and try to catch them up. Failing that….try to read literally any one of them and just try to (one day) tick them all off!
On the one hand, should I be adding to my workload? No, probably not. Do I care? Yes, I actually do. Will that prevent me from undertaking this? Not even a little. So when I complain next year about the grey in my hair and my lack of sleep….feel free to say I told you so. Hopefully I will actually be getting something done, though!
Listed below are the books Our Shared Shelf has already read so far. I will try to update it as new books are added, and I’ll also indicate which books I have read once I get to start reading them. With any luck, I’ll also get around to reviewing them (hah!) and I’ll link the review as well.
If you have read and/or reviewed any of these books, please let me know what your thoughts were, I’d love to hear!
